This week, Eimear and I had been up at the Antrim Hills which is a scenic 22-mile walking trail that crosses some of the most scenic upland areas in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
We started on the side of a little country road that overlooked Larne and Larne Lough. We kept the walk shorter than our previous walks as we have been planning on making videos that will be used on the website’s product pages. If you click here (Practise video) you can check out what Eimear and I used as our background for the videos and also have a little giggle while you’re there.
The weather stayed steady all day which was a great benefit when coming to make the videos – however, Fluffy always comes to save the day when the wind is out to play (FYI – Picture above is Fluffy). When walking to one of the fields we came across these three big beautiful longhaired cows, well known as Highland Cows. They are a Scottish breed of rustic cattle, usually dark in colour with long horns and shaggy coats as you can see from the pictures below.
I hope everyone has a wonderful bank holiday weekend, especially now that outdoor pubs and restaurants are allowed to open back up again! Don’t forget to keep on walking.
